SCV Sports Report: Saugus pitcher strong in loss

Cleveland High of Los Angeles defeated Saugus High 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon. Through five innings, Cents pitcher Brandyn Cruz had a no-hitter through five innings.

Saugus next has a double-header against Thousand Oaks on Saturday. The first game is at 10 a.m.

Golden Valley 6, Campbell Hall 4

The Grizzlies are 3-2 with the win and next play West Ranch in the Foothill League Tournament next Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Einstein 9, de Toledo 4

The Rockets’ Sam Stulman went 4-for-4 with three hits and two RBIs. Eric Hovsepian was 4-for-5 with one hit and two RBIs.

Einstein is now 2-0 and takes on Santa Clarita Christian Friday at home at 4 p.m.

Boys lacrosse

Hart 10, Simi Valley 9

With the home win, the Indians are now 2-1 and play Calabasas at home on Saturday at noon.

Boys tennis

Saugus 11, Chaminade 7

Erin Pang swept three sets for Saugus, all by 6-0 scores.
