Desert Christian defeated Santa Clarita Christian softball 22-21 on Monday night. Sydnee Skinner went 4-for-5 at the plate with a home run, a triple and four RBIs. Lynette Elhilu was also 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs.
Hailey Aguilar, Cassidy Oliver and Vanessa Roccella each had three RBIs.
The Cardinals are 4-2 overall and next play Holy Family on Friday at home.

In a nine-hole matchup, Jackson Bright carded a team-low 3-over 37 at Robinson Ranch Golf Club. Cole Scully shot five-over, Evan Shephard was 7-over, Michael Marler was 8-over and Torin Jensen was 9-over.
The Vikings are 6-6 overall and will compete in the second Foothill League meet today at noon.

Hailey Aguilar recorded five strikeouts and was 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Kaleigh Moss was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Grace Patterson was 3-for-4, hit a double and had two RBIs.
Cassidy Oliver and Austen Hermanson also added two RBIs each.
