SCV Sports Report: West Ranch lacrosse gets OT win

West Ranch boys lacrosse defeated St. Francis High of La Cañada Flintridge Wednesday night in overtime 8-7.

Teo Domic scored the winning goal one minute into overtime and had two goals and one assist in addition to the game-winner. Noah Gervasi added two goals and one assist.

The Wildcats improve to 8-5 overall with the win.

Varsity boys swimming

West Ranch 115, Canyon 54

West Ranch’s 400-free relay team of Ted Hwang, Cade Brower, Tommy Weber and Rijker Hutson won in a CIF consideration time of 3 minutes, 24.49 seconds.

Canyon’s foursome of Mason Eddy, Jaime Canady, Rowdy Feather and Kevin Childs finished second in CIF consideration time (3:31.04).

Varsity girls swimming

West Ranch 126, Canyon 42

West Ranch’s Sophia Morici won the 200 free in a CIF consideration time of 1:56.85.

Baseball

TMU 14, Marymount 5

Dalton Devries was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Mustangs. Jason Karkenny, Aaron Shackelford and Jonah Jarrard had two RBIs on the afternoon.
