Ashland University, Ashland, OH

Megan Schultz of Valencia, was named to the Dean’s List at Ashland University for the fall 2017 semester.

Schultz is majoring in nursing.

She is the daughter of Gary and Colleen Schultz of Valencia. Schultz is a 2013 graduate of Hart High School.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time at Ashland University and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Luther College, Decorah, IA

Lucas Nava of Valencia, has been accepted for admission for the 2018-19 academic year. Nava has been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship.

SUNY Oswego University, Oswego, NY
Katelin E. Thompson of Newhall, a freshman majoring in linguistics, earned Deans’ List recognition at SUNY Oswego for the fall 2017 semester.

Thompson was among students who received a grade point average of 3.3 to 3.79. Oswego students receiving a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 earn President’s List recognition.

A 157-year-old comprehensive college in the State University of New York system, Oswego enrolls about 8,000 students in its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Business; School of Communication, Media and the Arts; and School of Education.

Millikin University, Decatur, IL

The following students were named to the Dean’s List at Millikin University for fall 2017.
Sattin Schreiner of Stevenson Ranch, College of Fine Arts, Senior, Theatre

Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean’s List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean’s List honors.

Newberry College, Newberry, SC

Ryan Kagiyama from Castaic, has been named to Newberry College’s Dean’s List for Fall 2017.

Students receiving recognition on the Dean’s List at Newberry College had to achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the semester.

A total of 400 students earned Dean’s List honors for the fall semester.

Newberry College was ranked in the top tier of regional colleges in the South in the 2016 issue of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges in the U.S. The College offers baccalaureate degrees in 33 majors, 39 minors, 42 areas of concentration and 10 pre-professional programs and features a radio and television station.
