The Heritage and Cottonwood leagues released their all-league selections for the fall and Trinity quarterback Andrew Carlson and senior libero Chloe Horning received player of the year honors in their respective sports.
In football, the Trinity Knights had eight players receive honors from the Cottonwood League for the 2025 season.
Cottonwood League Football
Player of the Year: Andrew Carlson, junior, Trinity (QB).
Carlson led the Knights to a second-place finish in the Cottonwood League and was a big contributor in the Knights’ first 11-man playoff win over Gabrielino in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 14 playoffs.
The junior quarterback ran for 278 yards along with two rushing touchdowns and threw for over 1,000 yards throughout the season. Carlson ended the season with 808 rushing yards and nine total touchdowns.

Heritage League
As for the Heritage League, Horning highlights the all-league selections list with player of the year honors as both Santa Clarita Christian and Trinity share honors across multiple sports.

- Jonah Babikan, senior, Santa Clarita Christian (RB/LB).
- Caleb Arnold, senior, Santa Clarita Christian (OL/DL).
Football Second Team:
- Ethan Alvarado, sophomore, Santa Clarita Christian (OL/DL).
- Isaac Lee, sophomore, Santa Clarita Christian (WR/DB).
- Dax Woodward, sophomore, Santa Clarita Christian (QB/LB).
- Stone Funk, sophomore, Santa Clarita Christian (WR/DB).
Girls’ volleyball Player of the Year: Chloe Horning, senior, Trinity.
Horning led the Knights in girls’ volleyball to a second-place finish in league and to the first round of the Division 6 Southern Section playoffs.
The senior libero recorded 192 digs and 4.2 per set throughout the season and tallied 56 assists across 46 sets played.
