The 2025-26 all-league boys’ soccer selections for the Foothill League have been released, and Valencia junior midfielder Ciro Karapetyan topped the list of selections with Player of the Year honors.
Player of the Year: Ciro Karapetyan, junior, Valencia.
After a strong 2025-26 campaign, junior midfielder Ciro Karapetyan is the Foothill League’s Player of the Year after leading his Vikings to a Foothill League championship on the last day of the season.
Although Karapetyan is a midfielder, that didn’t stop the junior from being tied on his team in most goals scored with seven.
Karapetyan ended the season tied fourth in most goals scored in the Foothill League. And when Karapetyan is not bagging goals, he’s providing timely assists as he ended the year with four to his name.
Karapetyan played in every game this season for Valencia as the Vikings finished the year with a 12-5-2 overall record and 10-2 record in league play.
