Trinity’s Noa Peña earns Player of the Year honors among all-league selections

The Heritage League released its all-league selections for the winter sports season and Trinity’s sophomore Noa Peña highlights the list of honorees after being named Player of the Year in girls’ basketball.  

Local players honored in the all-league selections include the following: 

Girls’ Basketball 

Player of the Year: Noa Peña, sophomore, Trinity.  

Peña led the Knights to the team’s eighth consecutive Heritage League title this season with a perfect 8-0 league record. During the 2025-26 season, Peña averaged 21.4 points per game and 4.4 assists per game and led the Heritage League in both categories, according to MaxPreps.  

Peña also made history during the regular season as she became the second-ever sophomore in girls’ basketball history in the Santa Clarita Valley to cross the 1,000 career-point mark in a win over Vasquez.  

Sportsmanship Award: Santa Clarita Christian.
