After a year in which both teams achieved success in their respective seasons, Trinity Classical Academy Director of Athletics Ali Aguilar confirmed that the head coach positions in the football and boys’ basketball programs are open.

In a phone call with The Signal, Aguilar confirmed that both head coaches’ positions are open and that the listings are available online at the Trinity Classical Academy careers page after football coach Dave Eastham and boys’ basketball coach Daniel Hebert stepped down, according to Aguilar.

Eastham, who was hired in December 2024, spent his first season with the Knights during the 2025 season and helped lead the program to its first 11-man playoff win in school history.

As for the boys’ basketball position, Hebert, who’s spent the previous six years as the head coach of the boys’ basketball team, secured his 100th win with the program during the 2025-26 season in a victory over Santa Clarita Christian.

Prior to joining the boys’ basketball program in 2020, Hebert spent the previous four years with the girls’ basketball team from 2016 to 2020.

As of this publication, Eastham and Hebert have not yet responded to requests for comment and Aguilar confirmed the search for new head coaches has begun.
