A dozen figure skaters from The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center turned in dominant performances at the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating National Showcase Championships in Colorado last month as each skater stepped onto the podium.
The national showcase, which is the premier national competition for theatric figure skating, brough together hundreds of skaters from across the United States competing in 14 categories from the preliminary through master levels.
In the showcase, skaters from The Cube saw success across multiple levels as skaters collected gold, silver, bronze and pewter medals. The results come from a mix of established stars and rising talents.
Callie Haban was crowned with national titles in emotional performance and choreographic artistry. Avery O’Brien earned three silver medals and placed fourth in the Parade of Champions.

Lillian Ross captured the open juvenile emotional title and added silver in character and pewter in choreographic artistry and finished in the top 10 of the junior parade of champions.
Sara Rodriguez became the intermediate choreographic artistry national champion and added silver in character and bronze in emotional performance before finishing in the top 10 of the junior parade of champions.
Caleigh Harrison claimed the novice character title for portrayal of Roxie from “Chicago,” along with gold in the novice duet category. And,Cadence Cugno secured bronze in emotional performance.
Madison Rapkine added bronze in character performance and bronze for her themed event, delivering a rendition of “My Heart Will Go On.”
Newer faces also made their mark.
Adele Trdatyan earned silver in preliminary character performance, and Kara Cugno took bronze in juvenile character performance. Alexi Johnson claimed silver in the intermediate duet category. Lilly James earned bronze in lyrical pop, and Megan LaManna secured a bronze medal in choreographic artistry and placed 14th in the Parade of Junior Champions.
Rapkine, Harrison and O’Brien also competed in the open inflatables category, skating to “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as the Earth, Sun, and Moon, and finished third overall.
According to a statement sent to The Signal, many of these skaters first laced up through The Cube’s Camp Chillin’ and learn to skate programs, which are led by The Cube’s Linda Stroh.
Their achievements celebrated not only medals, but also the coaches, families, friendships and Santa Clarita community that helped them take creative risk and tell their stories on ice, the statement said.
