To Brian Richards, I think I have the answer to your questions (letters, Aug. 15). Democrats, for some reason that I have yet to determine, have hitched their cart to the wrong horse. It started with Barack Obama. You might want to ask him what happened (or what he did … and is still doing) to the Democratic Party. They were doing just fine until he showed up.
