Christopher Lucero attempted to draw a metaphor between baseball and politics (letters, Aug. 26), or least that’s what I think he was trying to do. It appeared to be something about ethics and nobility versus what some people will do to win. What I’m still trying to figure out is which side, Democrats or Republicans, he was referring to when describing the Astros, because to me it’s really a toss-up. I wish Mr. Lucero would stop beating around the bush and just spit it out.
