The No Kings, “I Hate America,” rally on Oct. 18 once again demonstrated how out of touch with reality these protesters are. Do they think their hateful signs and rhetoric changed one mind or had a positive influence on one person? They would do well to look at the better angels who demonstrated their love and support for the assassinated Charlie Kirk. Their positive message has changed countless lives, especially in young people, across the U.S.

Protest all you want. You have a made-up cause with made-up solutions. While you were engaged in your futile gesture, President Donald Trump was flying around the globe bringing peace to a troubled world. Why didn’t you celebrate that at your rally? Trump Derangement Syndrome is why.

Protesters, lest you forget, let me remind you of some important dates in U.S. history. Newsflash: July 1776, U.S. declares its independence from Great Britain and King George. Newsflash: January 1863, President Lincoln frees the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation. Newsflash: July 1964, Congress passes the Civil Rights Act. Newsflash: August 1969, Woodstock Music and Arts Fair closes. Newsflash: April 1975, the Vietnam War comes to an end.

Your rally was at least 50 years too late.

And if you have a problem with ICE and how they operate, Adam Carolla has a brilliant idea. ICE really represents National Immigration and Customs Enforcement or NICE. How can you argue with NICE?

Lighten up, protesters, lighten up.
