They hated Dick Cheney for decades. Then he turned on Donald Trump, whom they also hate. So now they love Cheney. The moral of that story: Even love can be based on hate.
The first became clear over a decade ago during the gay marriage push. “Love is love” was often code for “I hate you.” After all, how many times have they targeted that Colorado baker?
Similarly, “I love trans people” now stands in for “I hate trad people.” And they have the bullets to prove it. Even their “loving” stance on illegal immigration now comes with bullets (e.g. Dallas). And sometimes they write their slogans on the casings.
