Thank you for correcting my estimate of presidential golfing rounds. I had second thoughts about that statement just minutes after I hit “send.” I should have fact-checked myself then, but decided to let it stand. That’s embarrassing, it should not have happened and I apologize.
Let’s hope no president ever approaches Woodrow Wilson’s affinity for the game. At 1,200 rounds over eight years, that averages 2.88 rounds of golf per week. That should be embarrassing as well.
