I am VERY aware that this is not going to go over real well with some of my fellow military veterans but that certainly would not and will not be the first or last time that happens as I am pretty well known for rocking boats and shooting sacred cows!
What would be logical to assume are the requirements to become a member of Vietnam Veterans of America? Unfortunately if you said the obvious you would be wrong! You only have to have served in the military, not served “in” Vietnam.
Sort of reminds me of a certain man here in Santa Clarita who used to wear a Vietnam veteran ball cap even though he never served in Vietnam during his four years as an enlisted man.
It also reminds me of men who state that they and their wife are pregnant. Excuse me, but it is their wife who is pregnant and who will give birth to their child NOT them.
