Glenda Roybal’s letter to the editor on March 24 emphasizes that the citizens of Santa Clarita are waking up to the fact that most of the “loud” (negative)people at many of our city’s public meetings are not even from our city.
Thank you Glenda, for standing up and being heard in a positive way. Thank you for representing those of us who are physically unable to attend those meetings. Thank you for spending your personal time to be there. Thank you for standing up and calling out those who are not members of our community. By the way, this is happening all over our nation.
Maybe everyone should have to prove their address in Santa Clarita before having the right to be in the meeting. Perhaps the sergeant-at-arms should be removing disrupters from the meetings. That’s his/her job!
Whether those disrupters are residents or not, they are the very people who want to turn our valley into the unsafe, graffiti-ridden crime-infested kind of place they came from. They want to defund police and eliminate Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Why? They create chaos, not caring what the outcome will be. They know chaos will change things and they don’t care how they change. They have learned that chaos equals control.
So, for your attendance and keeping all of us informed: Thank you!
