Nowadays I often wonder just how in the world people pre-social media ever found a way to communicate with each other in either good or bad ways.
Watch the news and a day hardly goes by without a story or multiple stories about someone being threatened on their social media account for something they had supposedly said or done or a young person committing suicide over things people are saying about them online.
Unfortunately I don’t believe that this social media genie is ever going back in the bottle but I sure hope that at some point people start treating their fellow humans with more caring and respect than we see nowadays, where the convenient anonymity of social media allows the absolute worst in human behavior to thrive in the shadows.
