Here we go again! Our California legislators wasting time and money with Assembly Bill 1539. It is all about trying to bolster themselves because of their Hate for Trump. The 22nd Amendment of the Constitution already says a person may not serve more than two times as president of the United States.
Section 8304 of AB 1359 reads: “(a) When a group of candidates for presidential electors designates the presidential and vice presidential candidates for whom all of the group pledge themselves to vote, a representative of the groups shall certify to the secretary of state in writing, under penalty of perjury, that the designated presidential candidate is qualified to be elected to that office under the 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.”
The only reason for this bill is to be se sure Donald Trump can’t be on the ballot again in California! OMG!
