Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel extinguished a small fire that broke out in brush near Creekview Park in Newhall Saturday afternoon. The fire was first reported just after 6:00 p.m. and units arrived on scene within minutes. Firefighters kept the blaze contained to an area of less than ¼ acre in size, according to L.A. County Supervising Fire Dispatcher Melinda Choi. No injuries or damage to structures were reported, Choi confirmed. May 01, 2021. Bobby Block / The Signal.
